Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Being surrounded by ocean waters should come as no surprise that most dining options highlight seafood. Restaurants have the luxury of catching, or locally sourcing, fresh fish and other ingredients. There's a wide range of quality dining options, which might make deciding tricky or exploratory, depending on how you look at it.

One of the local favorites is Green Harbor Lobster Pound. They are most noted for their trendy lobster rolls. You will find casual seafood dining and a fish market at Haddad’s Ocean Cafe. Stop by and grab their famous lobster casserole to make at home for a quick and scrumptious, no-fuss meal. Dine in for lunch and try one of their pizzas or sandwiches with crab cakes or fried calamari.

When you are craving classic American comfort food and a sports bar vibe, head to Cask ‘N Flagon. You can order take-out if in a hurry, but many stay and enjoy the atmosphere. Their Sunday brunch buffet is also a local favorite. Station 8 is where residents go for a casual, rustic pub experience. They have traditional favorites, such as shrimp scampi and braised short ribs along with rustic pizza.

Roht’s Marine is a full-service marina in Marshfield. Their friendly staff is ready to help you get your boat ready for the water or help you create an ocean adventure for your friends and family. If you want to leave Marshfield and venture into the neighboring towns, there's easy access to major routes, buses, and the Greenbush rail line.
